WHITE CLOUD, Mich. (AP) — A western Michigan man has pleaded not responsible to homicide and baby abuse expenses within the demise of his 14-month-previous stepdaughter.
Twenty-9-yr-previous Wayne Arthur-Scott Brown of Newaygo was arraigned on the fees Friday in Newaygo County District Courtroom.
Laylah Heether died Tuesday after being hospitalized for every week. She had been discovered unresponsive at house with Brown. Investigators say she died of accidents related to youngster abuse.
Brown was arrested shortly after the infant’s hospitalization on a home violence cost for allegedly assaulting Laylah’s mom. He was launched from jail on bond earlier than being arrested on the brand new expenses Thursday. He now’s being held with out bond and is scheduled for a preliminary examination on April 19.
