HAMBURG, Germany (CBSNewYork) — President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin are assembly Friday on the G20 summit in Germany.
Earlier Friday morning, the president tweeted that he seemed ahead to “all conferences at the moment with world leaders, together with my assembly with Vladimir Putin. A lot to debate.”
Talking on Thursday in Poland, Trump took a troublesome stance towards Moscow forward of Friday’s assembly with Putin.
“We urge Russia to stop its destabilizing actions in Ukraine and elsewhere and its help for hostile regimes, together with Syria and Iran,” the president stated throughout a public speech in Warsaw.
However when requested, the president refused to affirm that Russia meddled within the 2016 election and it’s unclear if Trump will convey up the difficulty with Putin.
In the meantime, violent protests have damaged out on the G20 summit with some demonstrators clashing with police within the streets.
