Suspect in shooting at crowded mall pleads not guilty

WALLKILL, N.Y. (AP) — A Pennsylvania man suspected of firing a gun in an upstate New York mall crowded with vacation buyers has been arraigned on reckless endangerment and assault fees.

Michael Perez Rodriguez pleaded not responsible at his arraignment Wednesday.

Two individuals suffered minor accidents when the gun discharged at Galleria at Crystal Run within the Orange County city of Wallkill on Sunday afternoon. The capturing despatched consumers scurrying for security.

Assistant District Lawyer Jason Rosenwasser tells the Occasions Herald-Document in Middletown that Perez Rodriguez turned himself in Tuesday night time after police launched video displaying the capturing suspect getting into the mall with a lady, a younger youngster and an toddler.


Rosenwasser says Perez Rodriguez is a lawful pistol allow holder in New York and Pennsylvania and has a carry allow.
