STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Ronald M. Cerrachio, chief clerk of Richmond County Surrogate’s Courtroom, has been appointed to take a seat for a 3rd consecutive time period on the Grievance Committee for the Second, eleventh and thirteenth Judicial Districts.
The committee consists of 21 members – 17 legal professionals and 4 non-legal professionals – appointed by the courtroom who examine complaints of lawyer misconduct on Staten Island and in Brooklyn and Queens.
Cerrachio was initially appointed to serve a 4-yr yr time period from February 2009 via January 2013.
In February 2013, he was re-appointed for a second 4-time period, which ends Tuesday.
His newest appointment, for a 3-yr time period, means Cerrachio will stay on the committee via Jan. 31, 2020.
“It’s a nice distinction for me to be appointed once more to the Grievance Committee on lawyer self-discipline,” stated Cerrachio. “It’s a pleasure to serve with such superb committee employees and members. Having the chance to reinforce the integrity of the authorized system and group is a superb honor.”
