FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) —
Local students hand-picked by their teachers for their good behavior enjoyed a treat outside their classrooms a virtual reality truck rolled up to Williams Elementary Friday and only a select few got to enjoy it.
The truck features multiple screens and 3D virtual reality games.
This reward was made available to celebrate the students who have shown commitment as part of the school’s positive behavior incentives program.
Williams Elementary Principal, Bonifacio Sanchez said, “We want them to understand that it takes intelligence and character to have a good education. You can’t have one without the other.”
This is the first time a Fresno Unified campus offered a treat like this. About 80 third through sixth-grade students took part in Friday’s virtual reality fun.
