Santa Rosa man arrested after firing gun at another man

SANTA ROSA (KRON)– Santa Rosa police arrested a 27-yr-previous Thursday morning after he shot at a second man following a verbal argument, in line with police.

The incident occurred round eight:20 a.m. within the 200 block of Gilbert Drive.

The suspect, Joseph Vincent Kauth of Santa Rosa, was in his car when he fired on the 50-yr-previous sufferer, in accordance with police.

Thankfully, the bullet missed the sufferer and hit the bumper of a close-by car.

Kauth then fled the seen.

A “Be on the Lookout” for Kauth was broadcast shortly after.

Kauth’s white Cadillac was noticed close to Mendocino Avenue and Lewis Street.

As soon as officers stopped his car, he abruptly sped off main officer on a pursuit via a residential neighborhood.

Pursuing officers misplaced website of Kauth’s car.

Resident’s helped officers find him a second time close to Beaver Road.

Kauth exited the car and ran right into a yard.

He was later apprehended in booked into county jail on costs of Assault with a Firearm, Felon in possession of a firearm, Vandalism, Felony evading a police officer, Negligent discharge of a firearm.
