CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA (WPXI/CNN) – A Pennsylvania mom says her son drank half of a milkshake containing vodka earlier than she appeared on the receipt and realized the error.

Brianne Mckee and her four-yr-previous son, Stryler, ordered meals and drinks Sunday at a restaurant referred to as BRGR in Cranberry Township, PA.

As a deal with, Stryler obtained a s’mores milkshake to go. He was midway by way of the drink when his mom says he advised her he didn’t really feel nicely.

“My tongue was feeling humorous,” Stryler stated.

Mckee took the drink from her four-yr-previous and checked the receipt, which stated “grownup milkshake.” The milkshake had vodka in it.

“He was slightly drunk,” Mckee stated.

Mckee says she received upset concerning the mistake, and the restaurant gave her a refund for the drink. However the mom says administration didn’t act involved.

“No one cared, and I’m getting loud… It was like no one had youngsters or no one understood why I used to be so heartsick,” Mckee stated.

BRGR apologized for the “unacceptable” matter in a press release. The restaurant is reviewing its coaching procedures on alcohol security to ensure this doesn’t occur once more.

Mckee took Stryler to the physician Monday, they usually’re operating some exams as a precaution.
