Popular East Bay back road closed due to mudslide


CONTRA COSTA COUNTY (KRON) — A piece of Morgan Territory Rd. in Contra Costa County is closed because of a mudslide, county officers introduced Friday night time.

The roadway is closed between Oak Hill Ln. and Williams Rd., officers stated.

There isn’t any estimate for when the street will reopen.

Drivers can’t get to Marsh Creek from Morgan Territory if coming from south of Oak Hill Ln., based on officers.

To entry Morgan Territory Rd., drivers can use Manning Rd. and Livermore Ave. by way of Alameda County as an alternate.

Contra Costa Water District crews are additionally working within the space to restore a waterline broken because of the slide.
