Police: Man arrested for shooting female victim in the leg in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Officers inside the San Francisco police division arrested a suspect, who was liable for capturing an 18-yr-previous feminine sufferer in downtown San Francisco, Tuesday morning.

Based on the San Francisco police, 23-yr-previous Semaj McClure was arrested for tried homicide, resisting or delaying a peace officer and a probation violation.

Police stated, on Feb. 21 roughly at 2:30 a.m. officers responded to the world of Market and Mason Streets relating to to a “shot spotter” activation. Upon arrival a witness directed officers to the place the suspect fled on foot.

In accordance with police, McClure led officers on a foot pursuit westbound via Stevenson Alley and south on sixth Road. Officers took McClure into custody within the 900 block of Mission Road.

Following the seize of McClure, further officers situated the 18-yr-previous feminine sufferer within the 900 block of Market Road. Medical personnel handled the sufferer for a gun-shot wound to her leg, and was transported to a close-by hospital for a non-life threatening damage.

After an investigation officers found McClure was on probation in San Francisco for a 2015 firearm violation. Police stated McClure ran from officers within the Bayview District, and eliminated a stolen firearm from Georgia on his physique.

McClure was arrested and booked into the San Francisco County Jail.
