MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Carolina Panthers offensive lineman Matt Kalil is dealing with legal costs of promoting alcohol to a minor at his Minnesota pizza restaurant, regardless that he wasn’t current when the transaction occurred.
A charging doc says a 17-yr-previous server at Kalil’s Pieology Pizza in a Twin Cities suburb bought a beer to a 19-yr-previous lady Oct. 26. A police officer intervened and contacted the overall supervisor. The previous Minnesota Vikings lineman owns Pieology Pizza franchising rights in Minnesota.
The fees say Kalil is answerable for the unlawful sale as a result of he’s the proprietor. Nobody else was charged within the case.
Kalil has been summoned to seem in courtroom Dec. 15. Kalil’s agent didn’t instantly return a name for remark. Kalil couldn’t instantly be reached by means of the Panthers group.
