NYPD seeks public's help in identifying $58K iPhone thief




NEW YORK (AP) — The New York Police Division is asking for assist figuring out a person who handed himself off as a messenger and stole $fifty eight,000 value of iPhones from an Apple retailer.

The unidentified man walked right into a Manhattan retailer on Thursday and informed an worker he was a messenger there for a decide-up. The NYPD says the worker gave the person three packing containers with roughly $fifty eight,000 value of iPhone 7s.

The person then fled in a white Ford van with unknown license plates.

The NYPD launched surveillance video of the suspect on Friday and requested the general public for assist in figuring out the person.
