No trains moving at Chicago’s Union Station due to computer signaling problem


CHICAGO — Amtrak computer systems are down at Chicago’s Union Station inflicting sign issues to each Amtrak and Metra trains.

Based on Metra, there are not any trains getting into or departing from Union Station because of the pc signaling issues.

Metra tweeted this alert Friday morning, saying: “Amtrak Chicago Union Station experiencing pc signaling issues – trains stopped getting into and departing station.”
