WASHINGTON, D.C. (KRON) — The brand new appearing lawyer basic has directed the Justice Division to defend President Donald Trump’s government order on immigration and refugees.

President Trump on Monday fired Sally Yates, the earlier appearing lawyer common and a Democratic appointee, after she refused to defend in courtroom his controversial refugee and immigration ban.

In a press release, Trump stated Yates had “betrayed the Division of Justice by refusing to implement a authorized order designed to guard the residents of the USA.” He named longtime federal prosecutor Dana Boente as Yates’ alternative.
