Man Stabbed To Death In Street Robbery Near Rutgers


NEW BRUNSWICK (CBSNewYork) — Authorities say a road theft close to the Rutgers College campus in New Brunswick ended with a person being stabbed to dying.

Rutgers police say the theft occurred round 2:30 a.m. Saturday when two or three males tried to rob the sufferer on Hamilton Road, which is lower than a mile from Rutgers.

The sufferer, who was not affiliated with the college, was stabbed with a pointy object. He was pronounced lifeless a short while later.

The robbers fled the world shortly after the stabbing occurred. No arrests have been made.

Additional particulars on the theft haven’t been disclosed. Middlesex County prosecutors are main the investigation.
