HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) An 18-yr-previous Connecticut man has pleaded responsible to firing a gun into a house and hitting a ten-yr-previous woman within the head.
The Hartford Courant reviews that Zakhi Davis pleaded responsible Monday to first-diploma assault and carrying a pistol with no allow. He faces as much as 10 years in jail at sentencing on Jan. 26.
Davis was 17 when police say he opened hearth on a Hartford, Connecticut, house in November 2016. Police say Davis was in search of a gunman who fired into his house a day earlier.
Prosecutors say 10-yr-previous Ariana Wilson was enjoying Uno together with her grandmother when certainly one of Davis’ bullets struck her within the head and lodged itself behind her proper eye. The bullet was later eliminated, and the woman has regained a few of her imaginative and prescient.
