KDPS seeks grocery store robbery suspect

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a grocery retailer in Kalamazoo Thursday night time.

It occurred round eight:30 p.m. on the Individuals’s Meals CoOp situated at 507 Harrison Road.

Police say the suspect entered the shop and demanded that a feminine worker open the money register.

The suspect threatened to shoot the worker if she didn’t comply. A weapon was implied however not seen. After the suspect received the cash, he hit the worker within the face together with his hand then fled the shop on foot.

Police describe the suspect as a 6-foot-four, 250 pound man. He was final seen sporting a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a white masks masking his face.
