Jury in trial of burned woman visits key locations in case




BATESVILLE, Miss. (AP) — A jury within the trial of a person charged with setting a 19-yr-previous Mississippi lady on hearth and leaving her to die alongside a rural again street is scheduled to go to the crime scene within the case.

Prosecutors say Quinton Tellis set Jessica Chambers’ automotive on hearth close to a tree farm in Courtland, Mississippi, on Dec. 6, 2014. A passing motorist noticed Chambers strolling down the street and referred to as 911.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and handled Chambers, who had burns on most of her physique. She died at a hospital.

The 29-yr-previous Tellis is on trial on a homicide cost in Batesville, Mississippi. His lawyer says he is falsely accused. The jury is scheduled to go to necessary places within the investigation Thursday, the trial’s third day.
