The Lehigh Valley IronPigs scored five runs in the top of the ninth inning for an 8-4 win over the host Gwinnett Braves Monday night.
Pedro Florimon’s two-run single gave the IronPigs a 5-4 lead in the the ninth. Scott Kingery later added a run-scoring single in the inning.
Andrew Pullin went 2-for-4 for Lehigh Valley and J.P. Crawford hit a two-run home run, his eighth homer of the season.
IronPigs starter Tom Eshelman went six innings, giving up three earned runs on six hits. He fanned six. Eshelman helped himself with an RBI single in the fifth.
Reliever Pedro Beato closed out the victory.
Right-hander Ben Lively (7-1, 2.17) takes the mound for Lehigh Valley today, facing Braves’ righty Matt Wisler (5-5, 3.72).
