BOSTON (AP) The husband of a Massachusetts elementary faculty instructor discovered strangled and stabbed within the face and neck with a trash bag over her head has pleaded not responsible to homicide.
Andrew MacCormack was ordered held with out bail at his arraignment Tuesday in Suffolk Superior Courtroom. He was indicted final month within the demise of Vanessa MacCormack, a Lynn instructor discovered lifeless in September within the couple’s Revere residence.
Prosecutors say a cocaine supplier informed them Andrew MacCormack spent $four hundred to $500 every week on medicine.
They are saying MacCormack’s spouse threatened to seek the advice of a divorce lawyer in August. They are saying MacCormack left the home with their 1-yr-previous daughter after the killing and went to purchase cocaine. The house had been cleaned with bleach.
MacCormack’s lawyer says he denies the allegations.
