Barrington, Unwell. – Hearth crews have taken management of an enormous home hearth in Northwest Suburban Barrington. The hearth was initially referred to as in at round 2 a.m. and was shortly declared a four-alarm because of lack of water within the space.
Firefighters needed to transport water to the house at 2166 Cuba Street because of lack of fireside hydrants within the space. Barrington Hearth Chief Jim Kreher says neighbors reported seeing flames capturing from the roof earlier than it collapsed. No accidents have been reported.
