Exhibit shows promoter’s journey from Holocaust survivor to rock-and-roll legend


SKOKIE — Legendary live performance promoter Invoice Graham is answerable for placing bands just like the Grateful Lifeless on the trail to rock and roll royalty, and a brand new exhibit on the Illinois Holocaust Museum paperwork his humble beginnings as an orphan fleeing Nazi Germany and the Holocaust.

As soon as he established himself in America, Graham turned an excellent businessman with an ear for distinctive rock and roll expertise.  He would go to advertise and model different massive names together with Janis Joplin and The Rolling Stones.

Graham died in a helicopter crash in 1991, however his legend lives on via the interactive exhibit, now open on the Illinois Holocaust Museum via mid November.
