Departing AG tells Justice Dept. not to defend travel bans

WASHINGTON — The appearing Lawyer Basic Sally Yates has informed Justice Division legal professionals to not make authorized arguments defending President Donald Trump’s government order on immigration and refugees, in line with sources accustomed to the order.

Yates, an Obama appointee who’s serving till Trump lawyer basic nominee Jeff Periods is confirmed, doesn’t consider the substance of the order is lawful, in line with the sources.

Her order is enforced solely till she leaves workplace.

At present, there are instances filed in at the least 5 states together with Virginia, New York, Massachusetts, Washington and California which might be difficult Trump’s order.
