Chinese national accused of taking GRE for other people

BOSTON (AP) — A 25-yr-previous Chinese language citizen is dealing with federal fees in Massachusetts after officers say she took the GRE graduate faculty entry examination for different individuals.

Federal prosecutors say Yinyan Wang was arrested Monday in Pennsylvania on visa and passport fraud costs. The U.S. lawyer’s workplace for Massachusetts says Wang shall be delivered to Boston later this week.

Prosecutors say she took the examination for an additional Chinese language citizen Oct. 20 in Boston with false identification paperwork.

Authorities additionally say Wang took the GRE or the Check of English as a Overseas Language Examination, referred to as the TOEFL, 5 different occasions between July and August.
