ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) Authorities say a 14-yr-previous highschool scholar has been arrested on suspicion of threatening to hold out shootings at a number of Southern California campuses.
Police say the freshman at Anaheim’s Western Excessive Faculty was taken into custody Tuesday night time.
Kristina Hamm of the Anaheim Police Division says the teenager allegedly threatened on social media to shoot up his faculty and three others in Orange County on Friday.
Investigators tracked the suspect down after a involved scholar introduced a social media submit to the eye of authorities.
Hamm says the boy, who was not named as a result of he is a juvenile, might face fees together with making felony threats.
She says it isn’t instantly clear whether or not the teenager had the potential to hold out the threats.
