BRANFORD, Conn. (AP) — A ten-yr-previous boy has been discovered lifeless after being swept right into a culvert resulting in the Branford River close to the Connecticut shoreline.
Captain Geoff Morgan of the Branford Police Division says the boy and his two brothers have been enjoying close to the culvert at about 1 p.m. Friday when the kid misplaced his footing, fell from an embankment and was swept into the forty eight-inch pipe.
Morgan says police used divers, sonar and a drone to look from the purpose the place the boy went lacking right down to Branford Harbor on Lengthy Island Sound.
Morgan says the physique was three hours later about 500 ft from the place he disappeared.
The kid’s identify has not been launched.
