NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — The Essex County Prosecutor’s Workplace is investigating a lethal police-concerned capturing in Newark.
It occurred round 9:15 p.m. Tuesday within the space of South Orange Avenue and South twentieth Road.
In line with authorities, detectives from the division’s Main Crime Division have been investigating shootings and robberies within the space once they approached a car.
Police stated one among individuals contained in the car was armed with a gun and that’s when a detective opened hearth and fatally shot him.
They stated the suspect’s gun was recovered on the scene. No officers have been harm.
