ERIE, Pa. (AP) Authorities say a Pennsylvania well being care aide has been charged for pouring scalding-scorching water on a mentally disabled man.
Lawyer Common Josh Shapiro on Thursday introduced felony assault costs towards 26-yr-previous Akeem Nixon.
Shapiro says the 38-yr-previous sufferer suffered second-diploma burns to his buttocks, stomach, chest and again after the incident on the Lakeshore Group Providers residence for individuals with mental disabilities in Erie.
A felony grievance says the sufferer informed one other aide that Nixon threw the recent water on him.
Courtroom data present Nixon is presently being held in an Erie jail and didn’t record his lawyer.
